Adaptive Fashion & Mental Health Workshops

New Moons Ago is expanding textile reuse programming across Chinatown and independent living communities. Three focused workshops will introduce adaptive fashion techniques for individuals with mobility loss, while featured projects will integrate into local mending and reuse events such as Oakland Asian Cultural Center's monthly mending circles—supporting mental wellness through creative repair, reuse, and skill-sharing. We are currently pursuing grant funding to launch this initiative.
