Stop Waste: Repair and Reuse Grant 2023-2024
New Moons Ago is based in Oakland, collectively reduces fashion waste by reconnecting people through the upcycling of pre-loved clothing.
For the StopWaste grant, this 'Adaptive Fashion' project aims to develop patterns and a customer base for a personal upcycling pant-making project focused on populations experiencing mobility loss.
Additionally, it seeks to create an adaptive fashion platform for individuals with limited mobility.
The Mom Project x Google: UX Design 2021-2022
The Mom Project and Google's scholarship supported the development of this Adaptive Fashion Platform, enabling us to bring empathy-centered user experience design to sustainable and adaptive fashion. We are deeply grateful for their investment in accessible design.
